Managed to catch most of your BBC radio interview and it really resonated with me. I was utterly obsessed with art and creativity as I child but at an academic school and was destined for a sensible career which I have seen through but have never felt fulfilled with. As you say a creative field was not considered to lead to a professional job 30 years ago. Interestingly I am in a position now where I am trying to convince my artistic son that there are careers to be made in the arts.
