It only seems right to honour the Great British Bakeoff, with viewing figures of over 15 million last night and with it being the last ever BBC broadcast of what appears to be a British institution we could not let this moment slip by. To honour all of those up and down Britain getting their bake on and inspired by winner Candice and her chocolate & orange cake we decided to have a go ourselves, throwing on our Tori Murphy apron and putting an Irish spin on the bake we went for Nigella Lawson's Chocolate Guinness Cake, the outcome was delicious and although the kitchen needed a good clean down afterwards, our bellies and hearts were full which I believe is the most important part! Despite huge viewing figures we know baking isn't everyones cup of tea but we do all have a kitchen and whether that is used for baking, cooking up fine cuisine, warming up a soup, extra storage or dishing out a take away our Tori Murphy kitchen and dining textiles are practical, useful, stylish and chic! Now how about a nice warm mug of tea and another slice...
